Bana Qashu is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (eRYT200) with the Yoga Alliance. She is a lifelong learner, a leisurely traveler, and a yoga teacher. Bana has been practicing yoga for over ten years and received her certification through YogaFit. She has had the opportunity to train with Rodney Yee, Shiva Rae, and complete the Off the Mat Into the World leadership training with Seane Corn.
Additionally, she continues to enhance her knowledge of living a holistic life by studying more about the traditions, philosophies and spiritual aspects related to the practice of yoga and is currently obtaining her certificate in Ayurvedic Holistic Consulting through YogaFit.
Bana acquired bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from George Mason University and West Virginia University respectively. She also earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, as well as a Certificate in Event Planning from the George Washington University.
Additionally, Bana is a resident of Maryland and is managing the partner recruitment, training and partner sales with AVANT out of Chicago. She is currently serves on the membership committee with the Alliance of Channel Women.
Bana defines success not only through personal achievement, but also by the success of those around her. Her philosophy encompasses a dedication to personal development balanced with a dedication to her career, her family, and community. Bana's goal is not only to excel in her career, but to leave a legacy, mentor the young, influence others, achieve a mind-body balance, and enjoy life with loved ones.
